How can you tell when you are in a room, restroom, motel etc. with a mirror or a 2-way glass? Here’s how: I thought it was quite interesting! And I know in about 30 seconds you’re going to do what I did and find the nearest mirror. Do you know how to determine if a mirror is 2-way or not? . When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms, etc., how many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, or actually a 2-way mirror (i.e., they can see you, but you can’t see them)? There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms . It is very difficult to positively identify the surface by looking at it. So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of mirror we are looking at? TWO WAY GLASS IMAGE MIRROR IMAGE Just conduct this simple test: Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is GENUINE mirror. However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE! IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR! “No Space, Leave the Place” So remember, every time you see a mirror, do the “fingernail test.” It doesn’t cost you anything. REMEMBER. so everyone’s been asking about where the Moffat quote about the Doctor fancying Clara came from

it’s from one of the s7 boxset extras called “Creating Clara” (and i’ll just mention that the extra is broken up into different segments - costume, etc - and this particular clip comes from the “Courting Clara” segment); the full video isn’t up on YouTube, and i don’t really know how to rip from DVDs, and the whole thing is sort of long (long enough that i don’t want to stand around recording the whole thing on my iPhone, anyway)

but i DID record the clip of Moffat saying the thing so that everyone can see it’s a real thing or just hear it said out loud or… whatever it is you want

She’s a terribly, terribly good actress. I know that’s a dull thing to say but it’s true. You can be as beautiful and charming as you like but if you’re not terrific at acting it means nothing on the screen. She’s a terrific actress. In addition, she looks great, has great comic timing, she looks like she belongs somehow next to Matt Smith. By

The subtext - the thing that’s happening this time that you haven’t really quite seen with the Doctor before is… we’ve seen him fall in love loads of times, we’ve seen him have secret crushes, we’ve had him… we’ve had all of that very much in the Doctor - I don’t think we’ve quite seen him just straight-forwardly fancy someone that he thinks he shouldn’t. He really should not fancy this girl. But he REALLY does. By Steven Moffat, Creating Clara (via ohthestuffoflegends)
